She pursued a solo career, starting with singing in Parisian bars, cabarets, but also on the streets – the artist could be found, among others, at the du Tertre square. The artist’s career in France gained momentum in 2007, after participating in musical competitions she set off on a mini-tour around Europe, and three years later she released her debut album Zaz. Currently, the artist is preparing to release a new album, which is planned for the end of 2018.

Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera at Manege

Kahlo’s complete collection and 40 of Rivera’s paintings will be exhibited at Manege steps from Red Square. Frida Kahlo de Rivera  was a Mexican painter known for her self-portraits. Her work has been celebrated internationally as emblematic of Mexican national and indigenous traditions, and by feminists  for its uncompromising depiction of the female experience and form.
