The International Knight Festival ‘Tournament of St. George’ will be held in Moscow at the Kolomenskoye museum-reserve in the end of April 2019.Nine most famous knights from Russia, Norway and France will compete at the 4th St. George International Tournament.Participants of the festival will joust with solid wood spears, fight in team fisticuffs and one-on-ones with two-handed melees.
Every year during Moscow’s Museum Night more than 300 of Moscow’s museums and art centres are open until the early hours of the morning, welcoming visitors with no admission charge.

The International Military Music Festival – ‘Spasskaya Tower’ opens by the end of August on Red Square.The best of Russian and foreign military bands and folk groups, as well as honorary guard units of the heads of states, will take part in the event. At the end of each performance a joint band of all the participants – around 1,500 musicians – will appear on the Red Square. All the musicians will play the final chords to the salvoes of the salute, with the light show on St. Basil’s Cathedral as the background.
The city of Moscow celebrates its birthday in the beginning of September.
