Take a Peak Inside the New Park Under the Kremlin Wall
The most anticipated project in the modern history of Moscow – Zaryadye Park has opened on Sept 11 steps from Red Square!
It is hoped to “project a new image of Moscow and Russia to the world.” The park combines historic artifacts such as Kremlin-style gardens with modern sustainable technologies including artificial microclimate systems.
The rich vegetation of the future Park is divided into several natural landscape zones characteristic of our country. There are four natural areas within the park: tundra, forests divided into zones: coniferous forests, deciduous forests, birch groves and riparian forests; meadows and steppes.
Zaryadye Park derived its name from the neighborhood that was bulldozed under Stalin’s reign.
