President: Non-Working Week in Russia!
The President of Russia Vladimir Putin has announced today that next week (starting on March 30) would be a non-working one, though said workers would still be paid.
Pharmacies, supermarkets, public transport and clinics will still operate as usual.
163 new cases of COVID – 19 have been confirmed in Russia. The total number people in Russia diagnosed with coronavirus is 658.
The new cases have been found in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Voronezh, Sverdlovsk, Bashkiria, Lipetsk, Oryol, Kaluga, Volgograd, Samara, Chechnia and Tatarstan.

Meanwhile two senior lawmakers including Vyacheslav Volodin, speaker of the lower house of parliament, proposed legislation to make flouting anti-virus quarantine measures punishable with jail time.
The bill would provide for up to seven years’ jail for actions that led to the death of two or more people, or up to three years for causing mass infection, the RIA news agency reported.
