THE NUTCRACKER IN THE KREMLIN

The Serbian filmmaker, actor and musician Emir Kusturica is mainly known for his award-winning movie Time of the Gypsies. METRONOMY

Metronomy is a London based electronic music group that consists of members Oscar Cash, Gbenga Adelekan, Anna Prior and Joseph Mount. Metronomy got their start not by releasing an album, but rather by playing live in concert around Devon county in England in the early 2000’s.

Although the actual name for the indie rock group Alt-J is a symbol that looks like a triangle, the triangle is translated from computer language into Alt-J. Based out of Cambridge, England, Alt-J is comprised of Thom Green, Gus Unger-Hamilton, Gwil Sainsbury, and Joe Newman.

 LUDOVICO EINAUDI

Ludovico was born in Turin, Italy and trained as a classical composer and pianist at the Milan Conservatorio before continuing his studies with Luciano Berio, one of the most important composers of the twentieth century avant-garde. His career began with a series of prestigious commissions for institutions such as the USA’s Tanglewood Festival and Paris’ IRCAM but he turned away from what seemed a glittering classical career to forge his own musical path, giving him the freedom to reconcile his wider-ranging influences.
