The International Circus Festival in Moscow

World festival of circus art «Idol» is opening at the Great Moscow circus in September!
The festival will feature artists from all around the world — a total of more than 100 participants from Japan, Germany, Canada and other countries!
The Sleeping Beauty Dreams Show
Sleeping Beauty Dreams is a retelling of the Brothers Grimm fairytale, exploring the untold story of Princess Aurora’s 100 years of dreams. A new kind of theatrical experience combining live performance, art, and technology to show that the world of dreams is unique and doesn’t have to be confined by time or space.
The “Swan Lake” Ballet at Bolshoi Theatre
Tickets are selling out fast!
The “Swan Lake” ballet with brilliant music by Pyotr Tchaikovsky is currently the most famous ballet in the world, and a symbol of the Russian ballet. The base of the story is an old German legend telling about a beautiful princess Odette turned into a swan by the curse of an evil wizard Rothbart. The “Swan Lake” is an ever young lyrical charm of a classic dance inspired plasticity of pattern, a mysterious harmony of music and choreography.
Evanescence, the world famous American metal band with Amy Lee’s piercing female vocals and painfully profound lyrics, is coming back to Russia next autumn.
“WorldFood Moscow” Fest

The event is the main platform in Russia where food trade professionals, international associations, government ministers can assess the market; network with existing and new clients, as well as conduct and conclude deals for the future.WorldFood Moscow annually gathers international food and drink companies from over 62 countries.
The “Guardians of the Time” Exhibition

Collection of Fondation Louis Vuitton: Selected Works at the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts

In cooperation with one of the world’s leading collections of contemporary art Fondation Louis Vuitton, The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts presents the exhibition “Collection of Fondation Louis Vuitton: Selected Works”. Visitors will have the chance to get acquainted with the collection’s most famous works, from Alberto Giacometti, Yves Klein, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol to Gerhard Richter, Sigmar Polke, Christian Boltanski, Marina Abramović, Maurizio Cattelan, Andreas Gursky and other prominent artists. The exhibition includes 65 works in a diversity of media: painting, sculpture, photography, video and installation. All these works are shown in Russia for the first time. Check the details here. Placido Domingo in Moscow
The legend of the opera scene, the Spanish singer Placido Domingo will perform on October 17 on the stage of the Crocus City Hall in Moscow.
The program of the Moscow concert is very diverse and consists of compositions of various genres in which Placido Domingo sang over the years of his impressive career. So, in October in Crocus City Hall will feature opera arias and duets, since Domingo is known primarily as an opera singer, then the classical compositions of the Broadway musicals,opereta and the pearls of the Spanish lyric-dramatic genre Zarzuela, in which Placido’s parents sang.
The Night of the Arts
The annual Night of the Arts will be held on November 3.With dozens of venues on the list, the festival brings together those who love contemporary and classic art, performances and concerts by live bands. Entrance to all events is free. Operating hour 18.00 – 2.00.
