Free Museum Day at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art ( 6 Venues)
Moscow Museum of Modern Art is the first state museum in Russia that concentrates its activities exclusively on the art of the 20th and 21st centuries.
Today the Museum has five venues in the historic centre of Moscow. The main building is situated in Petrovka Street, in the former 18th-century mansion house of merchant Gubin, designed by the renowned neoclassical architect Matvey Kazakov. Apart from that, the Museum has three splendid exhibition venues: a vast five-storey building in Ermolaevsky Lane, a spacious gallery in Tverskoy Boulevard, the beautiful building of the State Museum of Modern Art of the Russian Academy of Arts, and Zurab Tsereteli Studio Museum. All the venues will be open on Tuesday April 16 with no admission fee! Check the addresses here.
Cosmic Concert at Moscow’s Planetarium
The Moscow Virtuosi State Chamber Orchestra is holding a concert as part of the project “Classical Music for Night Owls”, at the Moscow Planetarium.
Under its starry cupola, the musicians will play the cosmic music of jazz legends.

Toruk. Cirque Du Soleil

The First Flight, inspired by James Cameron’s AVATAR, a live experience by Cirque du Soleil, envisions a world beyond imagination set thousands of years before the events depicted in the film.
Russian Grill Fest

The “Swan Lake” Ballet in the Kremlin
The “Swan Lake” ballet with brilliant music by Pyotr Tchaikovsky is currently the most famous ballet in the world, and a symbol of the Russian ballet. The base of the story is an old German legend telling about a beautiful princess Odette turned into a swan by the curse of an evil wizard Rothbart.
The “Swan Lake” as performed by the Kremlin Ballet Theatre is an ever young lyrical charm of a classic dance inspired plasticity of pattern, a mysterious harmony of music and choreography.
Classics in the Dark Show
A new multimedia show, combining 3D graphics with the mastery of the world-class musicians has already become a massive hit in Moscow.
The ensemble “Questa Musica” became the only team in the world performing the most complicated symphonic music in complete darkness under the biggest starry cupola in Europe!
