Maker Faire Festival in Gorky Park
Sept 7 – Sept 8 11.00 – 19.00
Maker Faire is a family – friendly festival of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the Maker movement.
Part science fair, part county fair, and part something entirely new, Maker Faire is an all-ages gathering of tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, science clubs, authors, artists, students, and commercial exhibitors. All of these “makers” come to Maker Faire to show what they have made and to share what they have learned. Entrance is free!
The Moscow Bday Festival
This year the festival is dedicated to the 80th Jubilee of Europe’s biggest exhibition complex – Vdnkh (discover it with our audio guide)! The festival will open at 10 am on Tverskaya Street. Entrance is free!
Seven stages will be placed in the street in memory of the biggest exhibitions held at VDnkh throughout its history and its biggest venues. Special pop-up food stands will enhance the atmosphere with classic Russian dishes.

This weekend Moscow will be celebrating its 872th birthday. More than 80 events and concerts will be held at its biggest venues. More than 40 city museums will be open for guests with no entrance fee on Sept 7 and Sept 8.

For the last day the exhibition complex will house the street culture festival. The biggest city dance flash mob will start at 17.30 on the Industial Square at Vdnkh ( this time it might become the biggest one in the world).

Moscow Theatre Marathon
The annual theatre marathon will kick off at the Hermitage Garden including the beats from the greatest theatre shows from all over the city! Entrance is free!
