May 9: Concerts Schedule
Victory day in Moscow will be filled with musical shows and concerts, here is the schedule for the biggest events in the city.
10.00 – this year the screening go the annual parade on Red Square will take place in the Poklonnaya Hill (map) at 10.00. Entrance is free.
14.00 – The Immortal Regiment march will kick off in Moscow at 14.00 near the “Dinamo” metro station. In 2018 the city streets saw over 800,000 participants, which has become an absolute record for the event. See how it looked last year.
16.00 – a musical procession will be held in the Bauman Garden (map), the reenactment of one of the battles will be held there at 18.00. Entrance is free.
18.00 – a street dance floor will open in the Hermitage Garden. Professional dancers will show you dance moves from different retro styles including valse, rio-rite and cracowiak. A special field kitchen will be open in the garden throughout the day. Entrance is free.
20.00 – a grand concert will start at All-Russian Exhibition Complex. The park will also become one of the central viewpoint to watch fireworks. Entrance is free.
22.00 – The annual Victory Day celebrations usually culminate in a grand fireworks show at 10 p.m. Fireworks will set alight from dozens of different locations around the city. Anyone hoping to maximize their experience are advised to watch the show from the prime viewing locations in the city centre.
