The annual festival “Journey Into Christmas” will open steps from Red Square on December 21 with dozens of special stalls and tents, playgrounds and stages.
The festival will encompass dozens of special Christmas zones in the city centre. More than 100 stalls, selling different products, are placed on the territory of the fair. The festival will be open until January 13.

Bach’s Cosmic Concert at the Moscow Planetarium

The Moscow Virtuosi State Chamber Orchestra is holding a concert as part of the project “Classical Music for Night Owls”, at the Moscow Planetarium.
Under its starry cupola, the musicians will play Bach’s cosmic music. Johann Sebastian Bach composed more than 300 mesmerising cantatas full of light and hope.
High Jewellery in the Kremlin

For the first time in Russia, the Moscow Kremlin Museums are holding a retrospective exhibition, presenting pieces of high jewellery art by world-known Italian Maison BVLGARI, which history dates back more than a hundred and thirty years. Over four hundred unique pieces of high-end jewellery from the Bulgari Heritage Collection, are on display.
The history of the brand is closely related to such legendary women as Anna Magnani, Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn, Ingrid Bergman, Gina Lollobrigida, Monica Vitti and Sophia Loren, reflected in the display which includes a considerable quantity of jewellery that expressed charismatic image and inimitable character of each woman. As midnight strikes on a magical Christmas Eve, a toy Nutcracker comes to life, sweeping young Marie to a world of enchantment where she meets the Mouse King, the Nutcracker Prince and, of course, the Sugar Plum Fairy.
Set against a backdrop of projections, opulent costumes, magic tricks and special effects, the cast of World Level Championship level skaters dance to Tchaikovsky’s glorious score.

This winter season the VTB Arena in Moscow will host a truly unique ice show based on the legendary fairy tale: the Swan Lake.
