Here is our selection of top Christmas fairs to go to in Moscow on the Catholic Christmas eve.
“Journey into Christmas”
The annual Christmas festival “Journey Into Christmas” will take place steps from Red Square with dozens of special stalls and tents, playgrounds and stages. The event will commence on December 22.
The festival encompasses 38 special zones in the city centre. More than 100 stalls, selling different products, will be within the bounds of the fair. Operating hours 10 am – 11 pm. The festival will be held until January 14. The entrance is free.
The International Doll Ball
The International Doll Ball is the biggest doll exhibition and fair in the world! This year 1220 masters from 26 countries will take part in the event at Gostiniy Dvor from Dec 15 until December 17.
Each season the ball always has a unique program, a majestic fairytale for visitors of any age. Entrance fee is 500 rubles.To purchase tickets, please, click here.
The needlework “ArtFlection” fair is taking place at ID Telegraph on Dec 23 – Dec 24. Craftsmen from the biggest Russian cities will take part in the event. Operating hours are from 11.0 – 21.00. Entrance is free.
The “Dunyasha” Gift Market will open in the ARTPLAY Design Center from December 15 – December 17 for two days. Hand-made souvenirs, textiles, toys will be available to purchase. Operating hours from 12.00 – 20.00. Entrance is free.
The Italian “Mercatino Di Natale” fair will be held at the Hlebzavod art space from December 15 – December 17. It will encompass traditional food corners, handmade items, souvenirs, as well as vintage items. The entrance is free. Operating hours from 11.00 – 21.00.
