BigTimeMoscow presents a grand tour of the most exciting events taking place on the weekend from Sept 7 until Sept 9, Moscow’s 871th birthday.
Visit The Moscow BDay Festival
This year the Moscow BDay festival will be held in the city centre. The opening ceremony will start at 12.00 on Red Square. The festival will open at Tverskaya Street, Gorky Park, Kuznetsky Most and other central streets. Special pop-up food stands will enhance the atmosphere with classic Russian dishes.Entrance is free.

Meet “Bright People”
The “Bright People 2018” art festival will encompass the entire centre of Gorky Park, with numerous artists from Russia, Italy and France delivering free art performances. It will take place on Sept 8 – Sept 9.Operating hours: 13.00 – 22.00.
Watch the Theatre Parade
The biggest national theatre parade will be held for the sixth time in the Hemitage Garden with a rich array of artistic surprises in tow.The theatre marathon on Sept 8 will be running for 12 hour and will kick off 10 am.
Visit New Sights in Moscow’s Central Park
The best concert hall in Moscow ( as it was announced) will open on September 8 in “Zaryadye” Park. The entrance to the park is free. The opening ceremony will start at 17.00. A special stage will be placed close from the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour. Free concert of classical music will start there on September 8 at 12.00. It will last until 21.00.
On Sept. 8 at 9 p.m. shimmering fireworks will light up the night sky of Moscow.
