Prague Castle Treasures
Opened in Dec until Feb 25
An exhibition of the treasures from Prague Castle, the seat of kings and presidents, is open at the State History Museum on Red Square. It offers more than 100 historical items and artifacts mapping the 1000-year development and architectonic changes of Prague Castle.Among the most valuable exhibits are the 14th-century St Catherine reliquary designed by Petr Parler, one of the architects of St Vitus cathedrals at the Castle, and a candelabrums from the 12th century.
Operating hours Mon-Sun 10.00 – 18.00 Fri, Sat 10.00 – 21.00 The museum is closed on Tuesdays. Entrance fee is 300 rubles. The address is here.
The “Grammy” History
Opened in Jan until Feb 9
For the first time in Russia the history of the legendary music awards unfolds via the greatest items of American pop icons such as the gloves of Michael Jackson or fabulous concert outfits of Cher or Madonna.
The exhibition is open at Smolensky Passage. Entrance is free. Operating hours 10.00 – 22.00. The address is here.
Cheese Fest at Flacon
Feb 2 – Feb 4
The “Artisan Cheese Fest” will open for 3 days at Flacon. Tens of chalet-tents will be set in the city to treat all guests with all sorts of Russian traditional and international types of craft cheese.Entrance is free. Operating hours 11.00 – 21.00.

Impressionists in Moscow
Opened in 2017 until Feb 25
The exhibition at the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts includes more than 100 items from the 19th and 20th centuries, including paintings and graphic works by French and European artists from the largest museums of Russia.
Tens of famous works of post-impressionists Paul Cezanne, Vincent van Gogh, and Paul Gaugin are also on display at the museum. These legendary painters did not use the artistic methods of impressionists. They are considered as the younger peers of the impressionist masters.
Operating hours: Tue-Sun 11 am – 8 pm, Thurs-Fri 11 am – 9 pm. The museum is closed on Mondays. Entrance fee is 300 rubles. The address is here.
Takashi Murakami
Opened in 2017 until Feb 4 2018 !!!
The first retrospective of “the Japanese Andy Warhol” Takashi Murakami in Russia is on display at Garage Museum of Contemporary Art, offering a completely new perspective on this prolific artist’s output.
